Once upon a time, in a big green forest, there lived a clever little rabbit. The king of the forest was a big, strong, and very hungry lion.
Every day, the lion would ask the animals,
"Who will be my lunch today?"
All the animals were very scared. One day, it was the rabbit’s turn to go to the lion.
The clever rabbit thought,
"I must find a way to stop the lion!"
The rabbit slowly went to the lion and said,
"Oh King! I am very sorry I am late. Another lion stopped me on the way!"
The big lion roared,
"Another lion? In my forest? Show me where!"
The rabbit took the lion to a deep well. The lion looked inside and saw his own reflection in the water.
The lion shouted,
"Who are you?"
The reflection shouted back,
"Who are you?"
The angry lion jumped into the well to fight, but splash! — he drowned.
All the animals cheered,
"Hooray for the clever rabbit!"
And the forest was peaceful and happy again.
The End.
