Assalamu Alaikum YouTube Creator Friends.
In today's video, I have brought a very important update, which is going to be effective on YouTube from July 15, 2025.
Many people know that YouTube's YPP or YouTube Partner Program has some policies, one of which was “Repetitious Content”. This time it is being renamed “Inauthentic Content”.
So what is changing?
Basically, no new policy is coming. The old policy is being renamed and it is being made more clear that
Content that is mass produced, i.e. the same type of video is created and uploaded repeatedly — such as
Just reading stories
Slideshow videos uploaded repeatedly with the same voiceover
These videos were already ineligible for monetization. Now it is being referred to as “Inauthentic Content”.
There is no change in the Reused Content Policy.
Commentary, clips, reaction videos — those to which you add value yourself, will be monetized as before.
What happens if you use AI?
Videos can be made with AI. However, if it is realistic content made with AI, it must be declared separately.
Example:
If you use a face or voice made with AI in someone's video, you must disclose it.
YouTube's official monetization policy and examples can be found in the YouTube Help Center.
Last but not least:
Your video should be original, unstructured, and value-added — that's what YouTube wants. If you make mass-produced, repetitive, or inauthentic videos, you will not get monetization.
